Aventine Numismatics is a leading New Zealand numismatic firm. Initially established in the 2010s as a private venture by a group of worldwide collectors, we quickly expanded to be renowned for coin and banknote rarities in NZ. 

In 2021, Aventine was appointed as an Authorized Dealer by NGC [ Numismatic Guaranty Corporation ], the world's largest and most trusted third-party coin grading service, and PMG [ Paper Money Guaranty ] in the same year. 

Our acquisition of the 1879 Bank of New Zealand £100 banknote, an item which currently holds the record for the highest price ever paid for a New Zealand banknote ( $85,000 AUD ) was featured in the NZ Herald.
