Refund policy

Aventine Numismatics & Collectables are Licensed Secondhand Dealers and abide by the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (New Zealand).

Authenticity & Accuracy Returns

Should any numismatic or collectable item we sell be deemed counterfeit by a notable relevant authority, or be found to have an incorrect attribution or to differ from the image of the item purchased, we will arrange a free return at our expense. Once the returned item is inspected and confirmed to be in the same unaltered condition as delivered, a full refund of all costs charged by us will be provided.

Other Returns

All other return requests — those not arising from the authenticity or condition of the item sold — are considered on a case-by-case basis and may incur a restocking fee. Please contact us to discuss your eligibility.

Damages & Other Issues

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if your item arrives damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Refunds

Once we have received and inspected your return, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved. If approved, the refund is processed automatically to your original payment method. Please note it may take some additional time for your bank or card provider to post the refund.
