1914-1927 Bank of New Zealand 50 Pounds Specimen

Printed in green on white ground, with large figure “50” in orange across a orange panel in centre. Two medallions at left, of Māoris above and Kiwis & co beneath. Large figure “50” across panel in orange in the same as the front but printed in reverse. 7-3/8 inches x 4-5/8 inches.

Ex Spink Sale 14013 September 2014 Lot 1386. In PMG holder, graded Choice Extremely Fine. This note has a roulette punched CANCELLED and has a small neat printer's annotation in the upper left margin "71002 23.3.21." Small perforated counter for on the left, small hole in the right margin.
