Examples of coinage from the time of the libyan revolt are rare, the war was also known as the mercenary war as it was fought y mercenaries demanding their pay from Carthage. They minted several coin types during this period including silver/billon shekels.
The war was especially bloody as the reels executed hundreds of prisoners resulting in what was effect a truceless war where each army knew they were to be killed if captured.
