1933 The First New Zealand Proof Halfcrown

The exceptionally scarce first proof halfcrown of New Zealand upon the passing of the 1933 Coinage Act. Although Remick suggested a mintage of 20 proofs, the number that has surfaced on the open market in recent decades is noticeably lower.
