The modern Elizabeth II sovereign has a face value of £1, or Twenty Shillings ( 20/- ). This same monetary rate applies to the Elizabeth I Gold Pound of Twenty Shillings pictured above ( Spink 2534 ).

A Queen Elizabeth I Sovereign, however ( Spink 2512 & Spink 2529 ), which depicts the full-length portrait and body of the monarch, or sovereign ( which is another word for it ) enthroned, has a face value of £1.10/-, or Thirty Shillings.
