Issued by the Numismatic Society of Auckland. 38mm Diameter. Mintage of 20 stuck in Bronze, 40 in Copper with Rhodium plating, and 50 in genuine .925 Sterling Silver ( 1 oz ASW ) with anti-tarnishing Rhodium plating.

On the obverse side of the medal is the coat of arms of the Numismatic Society of Auckland, along with its Latin motto E Moneta Societas ( From Money Comes Society ). The main feature is the historically accurate busts of Charles I and Charles II and their coronation years.

On the reverse, the image of Westminster Abbey is depicted in detail. The image is surrounded by the inscription "Coronation Charles III, King of New Zealand". The architectural features of the abbey are visible, including its grand Gothic spires and arches.
